Saw this in yahoo today: ‘Houston we have a baby’:
The couple, who had been told they could not have children, last year adopted a boy from Ukraine. Three months after he came to live with them in Houston, Rebecca Bresnik learned she was pregnant.
One of my childhood friend also went through similar situation. Between 1991 and 2006, as a couple they had been to/through several tests/hopes , several moments of ‘maybe it will happen this time’, several disappointments, several rivers of tears, but could not succeed. Finally, they chose adoption and in November 2006, they adopted a boy baby from India. Now they are also blessed with their own child, conceived and born naturally.
I have, and I’m sure so have many of you also heard similar such stories, and it amazes me as to what is it about a holding/nurturing a baby that makes the hereto barren womb, fruitful?
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE BRESNICKS AND TO THE KUMARS!!
