……….on your door, what to do, what to do? Just go GRAB your Nikon, that’s what’s left to do!!
Remember this from last October: ‘What a Treat!’
Well here is this morning’s (6.45am) treat..
The first one is the view directly in my backyard, the next one is from my left-side neighbour’s backyard view and the third is from my right-side neighbour’s. I love all the three pictures. Planning to enlarge them and frame them into one horizontal piece. Will share the final product later on…. For now enjoy this,
White snow drifts slowly to the ground
each small snowflake dancing in unison.
The cold nips at my nose.
My frosty breath fills the morning air.
The sun is slowly rising over the mountains.
Cars fly by in a flurry
Headlights flash by in an instant.
and then silence envelops the open air.
Life is simple.
Today I live to feel.
My cold toes hugging the fresh fallen snow.
My fingers grasping small clumps of ice
and I can feel my breath inside of me.
Filling me wholly
before I exhale all that is my life.

……..Here, here let me make amends by stating on your behalf,
………..to my mom who somehow found the right balance to be my best cheer-leader, best supporter while still challenging me as my worst critic. She has so much belief in me that she both humbles me to appreciate my blessings and inspires me to push for more and more… ..
God Bless You Dear Amma, Without You I Would Be A Nobody!
May You Live Long And Be Very Happy!!
Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one mother the wide world over.
…….dearest and loving Anna-Manni, GOD bless you both abundantly on your special day!!

…..between admiring Egypt’s historic upraising, braving the bone-freezing chilly weather and chasing my elusive personal pursuits..I was so lost for some days. These videos provided the much needed comic relief & brought me right back to the real world. Umm, it’s nice to be back!!
My favourites are the ‘Night-time/Day-time’ and the ‘Dentist Monkey’, who reminds me of my own dentist. Now, don’t get me wrong, my dentist is a tall, handsome Irish guy who shares no resemblance whatsoever, other than getting real chatty especially when all I am capable of are grunts and aha’s. Well, God bless him, I owe him my charming smile!
Here is the second part: (No personal fav in this video)

…when in India we would always claim that if the media-meteriologist predicted something that would almost not happen. But in Canada, we are so used to checking the weather channel before heading out each day, we would dress warmly, dress down, stay indoors, enjoy outdoors, blizzard warnings, extreme heat alert, smog-alert, extreme wind-chill alerts, all kinds, you name it we probably have heard it something during the year.
So yesterday I posted about the 20 to 30 cms of snow coming our way, but turns out to be not quite that much… Here is the accumulation right at my door-step, my front yard and my back yard. All schools are closed so my son gets to stay home, safe & snuggly…while I wear my snow-gear and head out. Not sure when I will reach office, but planning to go in..
Also, too, south of the border, ha ha ha they are in ho-ho-ho land. Seriously, sorry guys you got the brunt of it this year. Welcome to Canadian Weather!
