From My Yard: Gone But Not Forgotten


At the top: Korean Lilac, the very first plant I planted in my yard bloomed for the first and the only time (thus far) after 4 years, hulllllooooo late bloomer!

White peony, which I transplanted last year from my front yard to the back and it bloomed on this year. Both the lilac and the peony were victims of a heavy downpour within couple days of blooming: talk about my timely action. Some weekends, I do seem to walk around my yard with my camera more than with my gardening gloves and tools….
